Extends Battery Life

During discharge, our passive thermal management system acts as a heat sink, evenly distributing heat throughout the battery pack.  Our technology also keeps the lithium-ion cells out of the dangerous high temperature zones that cause capacity loss.  The resulting lower, more uniform temperature reduces capacity loss in the battery pack over time.  Research performed in our lab on behalf of the Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan (ITRI) has shown that in comparison to air-cooled battery packs, AllCell's PCM protected packs retain a higher capacity for an extended period of time.
